Adidas made some horrible changes recently though I have to start looking for a new shoe because those uppers are a joke. Oh well. Buy these if they ever return to normal. But I would think that in this day and age of new materials and technology, that Adidas would actually improve the quality or keep the same of their retro footwear lines from the originals. This shoe is made so cheaply. A thin, plastic foam tongue? A sole that is as hard a rock? A good looking shoe, but poor construction and absolutely is not fit for athletic wear, as the description states.

It's unbearable, and it's so frustrating since I really want to like these shoes. They do look nice, but try another model or color. But the vinyl material on the tongue and heel are so thin and cheap, they squeak when you walk. Can only wear them when I don't have to walk. So when would that be? Look good, perform badly. The shoes were narrow in the heel, but very wide in the "toe box". I should have paid more attention to the comments about the squeaking. I expected they would squeak on a tile or wood floor.

Seriously, they fit okay, are really stiff, and are super loud because the tongue is made of some material that squeaks with every movement.

When they fell apart I ordered a new pair but discovered the tongue was too long and rubbed my leg so I returned them and got these.
The biggest problem with these shoes is that they squeak loudly! I was asked not to wear them back to my college class.
