You dont have to become Thane of any hold, nor own any property, or only own 5 gold pieces ect ect. It depends on your character. For instance, a racist Khajiit bent on the extermination of all non-khajiit wouldnt be the best person to put on the throne. And if you do assume that the Dragonborn does finish all quests, buys all houses, ect ect, then he would be an demented meglomaniac that changes his moral standpoint to fit what he currently finds useful.

He could save Solthsiem from Miraak one day then the next blot out the sun and rampage through Whiterun as a Vampirelord. Not to mention, I doubt the Dragonborn possess much political skill anyway. And then if Bethesda does decide they want to make him High King, they would have to decide what questlines he did and did not do, what race he was as I doubt many people would be happy if an Orc sat upon the throne of Skyrim, what his morals were ect ect, and that would lead to a cannon Dragonborn, which would make the freedom of Skyrim and being to create a character useless.

It would be new there, but the hint seems pretty heavy still. Cause Thalmor. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 21 Nov, pm. The Emperor would be the Harbinger, then the high kings would be the circle members, then the regular companion members think of as the jarls and rulers of the various towns from skyrim and cyrodil, its a basic example but hoping you get it User Info: bluedragon Top Voted Answer.
