Push the right push block forward to create a sort of bridge to the switch, then jump onto that block by using the blue bounce pad nearby.
Step on the switch to expose another switch nearby. Step on the new switch and push the rest of the push blocks to the North, forming a long bridge to the last switch. Use the blue bounce pad to jump on top of these blocks to the switch. The switch will open up a path to the area below. Before jumping down, push the middle block over the edge. Walk off the edge to the area below.
Push the two push blocks here to create another bridge to the right. Walk up the wooden ramp and push the top block forward into a hole, creating an open path to the Soul Gem. This Soul Gem is for Tree Rex. It unlocks the ability, Woodpecker Pal. Just like the last two arena battles, you'll fight waves of monsters here. After the first wave, two spiked rollers will roll around the edge of the arena. Try to stay away from them as much as possible. You can push enemies into them to damage or defeat them quickly.
For the third wave, the central area will raise, exposing more blades! It'll be tough, but try to stay away from the blades on both sides while fighting all the monsters in the middle. Try to use the blades to your advantage by pushing or guiding the monsters into the blades. For the final round, fight the Pipsqueak King. One attack will send him away, bringing Shadow Duke to fight you. He carries a big sword and is covered in armor, but that makes him extremely slow.
Dodge his attack to get the sword stuck in the ground, then attack from behind. Of course, he won't be alone. Back on the ship, Brock will have the final set of Arena Battles for you. In the end, all forty Skylanders, including the Giants, were defeated in a single blow, allowing Malefor to absorb their powers with a crystal to make himself more powerful. Once the crystal was destroyed by Spyro , Tree Rex and the other Skylanders were granted back their strength and powers.
In response to the sky rifts appearing around Skylands, Tree Rex and the other Giants were assigned to directly protect the Core of Light stationed at the Skylanders Academy in case of a direct assault. The giant Ent calmed Bouncer 's fears when the robot giant expressed worry regarding the sky rifts that were threatening Skylands. Knowing that they are the first Skylanders, Tree Rex knew that the other Skylanders would look up to the Giants in need of courage and hoped that the others would find the answer to the rifts.
When Kaos captured Master Eon and demanded the Skylanders to surrender the Core of Light, Spyro sent out the Giants, who proceeded to break apart the whole island, hurling the rocky remains at the attacking airships.
