Where is tali mass effect 2

A heavy pistol can be found on both paths -- make sure to scan it, unlocking a Heavy Pistol Damage upgrade. Activating the radio sets off a conversation with the Quarian Marine commander, Kal'Reegar. Reegar reveals the Quarians have been pinned down by the Geth and require assistance -- but a Geth Dropship destroys a nearby pillar, preventing Shepard from advancing.

Two demolition charges can be recovered to bring down the fallen pillar -- one located in a garage to the west of Shepard's current position and the other straight ahead in a bunker.

Either charge can be taken first, although it's slightly easier to bring down the waves of Geth Troopers from the garage to keep them from attacking from behind while recovering the other charge. Shepard will have to blast their way into the garage to collect the charge -- as well as a med-kit and Tali's journal.

Upon taking the first demolition charge, Geth reinforcements arrive -- the player will need to slowly advance towards the second demolition charge in the bunker during the ensuing firefight.

Otherwise, the player risks the respawning Geth Troopers becoming overwhelming. The arrived Geth Rocket Troopers, who are positioned on the catwalks along the path towards the bunker, make matters worse. Once the Geth forces have been depleted, make sure to collect the nearby Medi-Gels, Heavy Ammo, and Refined Iridium before collecting the charge in the bunker.

This will set off a fresh assault from the Geth. Players can elect to remain in the bunker to hold their ground which provides cover but risks the player being surrounded or take a nearby ramp to the upper-levels, exposing themselves to the Geth fire and potentially allowing them to pick off the Troopers more easily. Once all the Geth have been defeated, move back to the fallen pillar and set the charges.

Run as far from the pillar, as you can be killed by the explosion if you're too close when it goes off after ten seconds. Once the pillar has been cleared, Shepard and their team will find a room full of dead Geth and Quarians -- along with a Disassembled Geth Rifle which can be scanned for an Assault Rifle upgrade , Damaged Geth bodies that can be salvaged for credits, and a Wall Safe that can be bypassed for additional credits.

Reaching the comm system, Shepard will communicate with Tali and update her about the loss of her team. She'll promptly open the door for Shepard to advance. As the fight progresses, make sure to always advance -- this will prevent the Geth from having the chance to attack again with respawning reinforcements. Once you've made your way up there, take out your most accurate weapon and get to it. When you get to the end of the walkway however, some Geth reinforcements will show up.

The end of the walkway offers VERY little cover for shooting backwards, so your best bet is actually to backtrack down the walkway and back to the boxes past the ramp, letting you deal with them more comfortably. Make sure to stay crouched down though: as mentioned above this route has no shade unless you're behind the railing. Once all the Geth footsoldiers have been dealt with, return to the far end of the walkway and take cover at the top, to mitigate the Colossus' height advantage.

With the wide railing you'll have plenty of room to avoid being hit the Colossus' pulse rockets. Of course when it's not doing that it'll be using its machine guns on you, so you only have a few scant seconds to safely fire at it. Since you're up on the right-hand route however, the Colossus won't recharge its shields! This is invaluable when trying for the Pulse Rifle reward.

If you intended to do that but forgot to change the difficulty to Hardcore or Insanity, you can Pause and use the Load menu to Restart the Mission, which also lets you choose your Squad and their Weapons again. Now go and talk to Tali: at the outset of the conversation, say "Can you join me now? Speak with her at length in regard to what's happening here, and what her research on the sun at the center of the system has netted.

Now if Kal'Reegar survived the battle with the Colossus, he'll show up here, still injured but alive. Here you can say "Do you need transportation? With her Mission complete, Tali will gladly join your squad, leaving Kal to head back to the Quarian fleet on his own. Following the conversation with Tali back on the planet surface, you'll find yourself automatically transported to the Normandy.

As you may remember from Freedom's Progress , Cerberus was responsible for infiltrating the Quarian fleet and destroying one of the ships within it. Tali hasn't forgotten about it, and makes it completely clear that she's here for Shepard, not them.

You should now head down to Engineering and talk to Tali, at the station to the left of where Gabby and Ken are. Tali's Research upgrade is a super important one: Cyclonic Shields for the Normandy. Considering the ship has been a target for the Collector's ship in the past, it's a very good idea to purchase this.

If you've gotten all three combat upgrades to the Normandy the Cyclonic Shields, Silaris Armor and Thanix Cannon , you can talk to Joker again and ask about the Mission for a new line of dialogue. If you've been holding out on concluding the FBA Couplings Assignment due to unique dialogue, now's the time to do it. Tali will join in on the poker game!

Last Edited: 23 Sep am. Before we start on the level itself, there are two things to note. If you're playing on a harder difficulty and want the easiest time instead, we suggest you include characters who specialize in long-range and tech abilities, such as Garrus, Kasumi, Zaeed, The Assassin, and the Reaper IFF Squad Mate. If you don't, it won't appear at the end! As you'll learn going forwards, the sunlight will drain your shields to zero, which is VERY bad since that leaves your health completely exposed!

The shields will also drain faster the higher the difficulty level. Luckily, the sunlight itself will not drain your health, but otherwise take Dienekes' advice from and fight in the shade. Medical Station - Credits. In the middle of the elevated corridor on the right-hand side of this area. In the middle is a doorway leading to a ramp: the Medical Station is at the top of the ramp. From the Medical Station, head down to the very bottom of the ramp to find this next to a dead Quarian leaning on the wall.

Turn left and go down the ramp, then go straight forwards to the L-shaped drilling machine. The Iridium will be on it. You'll find more Iridium on these on many more machines later, so keep an eye out! Up ahead will be a Quarian Radio you can answer. The M-9 Tempest is a good upgrade from the starting M-4 Shuriken, with more damage and faster fire at the expense of some accuracy especially with sustained fire.

It's true use is on Squadmates , who don't have accuracy problems but fire more shots compared to the Locust. Find Demo Charges The two pieces of explosives we need are in two separate locations, but thankfully, they're pretty close to one another in the area up ahead. Head up the ramp near the desk to find this at the top.

Med Kit - Credits. Check behind the crates from where the Demolition Charge is. On the wall to the left of the Demolition Charge.

Power Cells - Credits. On the concrete block, to the left of the Demolition Charge. After downing all the enemies in the area, you'll have the space to do some exploring. From the Iridium, turn left and go up to the top of the ramp to find this.

Tali's Journal - From the Medical Station, head outside to the upper walkway and cross to the other side. Contact Quarians Loading. Tali will open the sealed door to your left remotely. Medical Station - Through the door Tali opens for you, to the right of the doorway to the ramp. Once you have her Dossier, do Tali's acquisition mission.

After three or four missions, Kelly Chambers should tell you that Tali wants to talk to you. She is located on deck four, engineering, and stands by the console to the left of Engineers Daniels and Donnelly. After you talk to her, she will tell you that she has been accused of treason by the Migrant Fleet. The first thing to note about Tali's loyalty mission is that like every other quest in the game, it should be completed before acquiring the Reaper IFF.

This is the part of Mass Effect 2 that sets the endgame in motion, meaning that all loyalty missions should be completed before it - except for Legion's, obviously, as you don't encounter it until you actually go to acquire the Reaper IFF. If you're wondering about bringing Legion, so, my suggestion would be no. Not only is it an active geth - a bit ironic considering that Tali has been accused of sending active geth units to the fleet - but you should not be doing the acquire Reaper IFF mission yet in the first place.

Aside from those two preparatory measures, you should also make sure you have high Paragon or Renegade, as there are speech checks to pass if you want to save Tali from being exiled. Once you arrive at the fleet, you will be brought aboard by Captain Kar'Danna. He will escort you to the garden plaza, where you will meet Admiral Raan, who Tali greets as her aunt. As Tali's captain, you need to defend her during the trial - if you came prepared with high Paragon or Renegade, you will have special dialogue options.

Eventually, the Admirals will say that Tali's father is missing on a ship called the Alarei, which has been overrun by geth. In order to search for him and prove Tali's innocence, Shepard and Tali must go to the ship and take it back. Before leaving for the Alarei, you can talk to all of the Admirals, as well as Veetor and Kal'Reegar depending on your actions during the first and second instances you meet Tali in Mass Effect 2.

Once you're ready to go, head through the ship and out towards the Alarei. If you're unsure where to go, simply use the objective tracker by bringing up the minimap and looking at the arrow.
