I have tried other prepaid cards that are difficult to find because retailers do not carry them in their stores. I Love it!! I have had this card for years and have been so grateful to have it! I just got notified that my Liquid account will be converting to a secure checking account and my card will be replaced with a non prepaid card. One that I will be able to rent cars with etc. I had been through a rough time in my life and was uncomfortable and unqualified to handle a regular account when I was offered the liquid card.
I had tried other prepaid cards but the ridiculous fees and the inconvenience of the loading requirements almost drove me over the edge! Chase has provided me with the same customer service as any other cardholder. I received monthly statements and literally used the card anywhere I needed to use it. I have to say that this card has been the best financial decision I have ever made! If I am understanding what I just read on the internet, they are not offering liquid accounts to new customers anymore.
I will hope that isn't true. There really isn't a better prepaid card out there! I think having this card - a Chase Visa card - more than justifies a low monthly service fee.
